I’m Simon Connors. I’ve spent more than 25 years working on timber sash windows, repairing, restoring, draught-proofing and replacing the kind of windows that give North London and South Hertfordshire homes their character.
S C Sash Windows is a small, deliberately independent business. When you call me, you get me: the same person surveys your windows, quotes the work, does the work, and stands behind it. No subcontractors, no agency fitters, no salesmen on commission.

Why I went out on my own.
For more than 25 years I learned this trade the proper way — on real period homes, working alongside some of the most respected joinery and sash-window firms across North London and South Hertfordshire.
S C Sash Windows is me stepping out under my own initials. The standards came long before the name, though. My grandad was a builder and carpenter who never cut a corner, and working with timber clearly runs in the family — the oak in the logo is a quiet nod to him, to roots, patience and craftsmanship built to last. Putting my own initials over the door simply means the person who surveys your windows is the same one who restores them, and stands behind them for years afterwards.
